The boneyard beach at Botany Bay Plantation at sunrise. The tides have changed and eroded areas where thriving oak trees once stood. Many have now fallen and been washed away by the sea, or partially covered by changing sands, with their root systems exposed to the elements.
This particular morning started with heavy cloud cover, but eventually the clouds broke and rewarded me with some beautiful color to add drama to the already surreal scene.
